Geraldine Von Borstel is the founder of Von Borstel Legal, APC.  Before immigrating to the United States, Ms. Von Borstel worked in Mexico in the fields of real estate and immigration law. Once she moved to the U.S. she decided to continue to work in the field of immigration because she is passionate about being able to help people fulfill their dreams of building a life in the U.S. After spending almost two decades working for several immigration law firms in the U.S., she funded Von Borstel Legal to assist immigrants in navigating the complex U.S. immigration system. Ms. Von Borstel has witnessed throughout her career the importance of hiring an experienced attorney at the beginning of the process to prevent costly mistakes that can result not only in the case being denied, but also the person being placed in deportation proceedings or being found inadmissible by the U.S. Consulate.

The firm is located in San Diego, California, but we handle immigration matters throughout the United States.
